Featurette – Olatunde Osunsanmi’s The Fourth Kind

I previously wrote about this film on this blog, in August, so I won’t bother with another intro. CLICK HERE to read my original post to catch up (including a trailer). A fact-based thriller, the film which bows in theatres on November 6th, 2009, was written and directed by 31-year old Nigerian-American filmmaker, Olatunde Osunsanmi, and stars Milla Jovovich.

The below featurette provides a look at alien abductions and the different classes of encounters – subjects the film obviously tackles. I’ll be seeing this next week.

    Tambay,

‘Tunde and I worked together on Harpo’s “Their Eyes Were Watching God.” He’s a great guy, super nice cat, was even then working on his previous film, WITHIN(THE CAVERN) while working as a PA for the UPM. Did WITHIN on a super low-budget with a few friends. I’d lost track of him for a while so it’s great to see that he got some traction and got this film done with a studio!

I went to film school with Tunde. I was a grad student and he was a freshman undergrad. He worked as a PA on one of my short films. He was a really sweet guy and I’m glad he’s doing big things!
