Watch Now – “The Wanda Sykes Show”Anybody catch this last night? The debut of The Wanda Sykes Show, which aired on the Fox network at 11PM on Saturday night, hosted by Ms Wanda Sykes herself, of course. I didn’t. I did read a few reviews of it, and they were mostly lukewarm – neither too enthusiastic nor too disparaging. Here’s the entire hour-long show if interested. I’ll watch this some time before it next airs:

I was going to write a review about this. It wasn’t as funny as I thought it would be. Wanda seemed a bit out of her element. She didn’t seem like she was all in.
Maybe nervous?
The end was a bit better, when they were doing inappropriate games. Anyway, I like the cocktail panel but the start of the show needs a better format, it seemed like it was just blowing in the wind.
That was a bit painful . . . . hopefully she finds her way . . . because she’s usually hilarious. . . the best part was the inappropriate games and that was so short!
That was pretty good. I’m not really into late night TV, but that doesn’t seem like it’s below par of what’s on TV now. I think It’ll do well. It’s edgy, so I think it’ll attract a younger audience.
Agreed. It was a dreadful show. I’ve never found her funny at all.
I thought she was funny on CYE. She has a way about her (and of course the voice) that makes me chuckle. I think most of her humor is subtle.
