DIVERSIONS: Steven Seagal: Lawman TV show

Well folks, we’re only 7 days away from the most anticipated TV show of the year.  Yes, I’m talking about (cue music) Steven Seagal:  Lawman!

Obviously, this show looks pretty dumb as it follows the now 300 lbs (est.) action hero through his part time act job career as a Deputy Chief Sheriff in Jefferson County Parish in Louisiana (incl. New Orleans), which is the only reason I mention it here on S&A, aside from a distracting joke factor.  Apparently, from early reviews, Seagal and his ‘elite crew’ mostly go around arresting Black folks, but then Chief Seagal (snort – but that’s what they really call him!) often takes the side of the poor Black folks he and crew detain.

I won’t say anymore, but if you don’t care about wasting valuable time, and want to find something funny to watch at 10pm since The Jay Leno show can’t provide any chuckles, and you feel like seeing Black folks getting arrested by cops but don’t feel like watching it out of your living room window, turn to A&E and check out Steven Seagal:  Lawman.
