Tyler Perry’s Latest Message To His Fans (Someone Stole His Credit Card!)
But a quick search revealed otherwise – April 28th to be exact, just over 2 weeks ago. Then again, I guess 2 weeks without a Tyler Perry post is indeed awhile Anyway, those who follow him on Twitter will be familiar with his infrequent message tweets to his fans, which are posted on his website. He sent one out a few minutes ago, thanking the near 700,000 folks who came to see his Madea’s Big Happy Family tour – 125 performances in 126 days he says. Although, it’s not over, so those of you who were hoping to catch the show are in luck. Perry says he’s taking a break right now (likely to shoot For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf), but the show will resume in the fall! I’m still stuck on 700,000 people! The show came to New York earlier this year, and I read that tickets ranged from about $70 to $150 or so. I’d assume prices were lower in other cities, although I don’t know how much lower. Regardless, I’m sure he raked in a nice chunk of change from those 125 performances.
Lastly, Perry said in the message that his credit card number was stolen, and the thief charged up $28,492.22 worth of stuff. He then went on to list each individual purchase, including date, item, and amount. Why? I dunno… but I copied and pasted the set below to see for yourselves: TOTAL: $28,492.22 4 comments to Tyler Perry’s Latest Message To His Fans (Someone Stole His Credit Card!) |

Hmm. Looks like a traveling man stole his card, most likely someone close to him.
What?????? No dresses, wigs or lipstick????
WTF did they get at Lowes? Damn. Definitely sounds like an inside job.
It took him a long time to cancel that card.
