Did you know Loretta Devine has been prepping for a tour with her very-own own one-woman stage show?

The award-winning actress will present her show, Pieces of Me, at Stage 52 in Los Angeles, running September 11 to October 3.

The show is described as “an inventive, personal and socially conscious evening of poetry and songs.”

What some may not know is that Devine started out in theater, originating the role of Lorrell Robinson, in the Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, in 1981.
