Don Cheadle’s New Showtime Dark Comedy Series Finds Its Female Lead
We last mentioned this in early December – Don Cheadle’s new Showtime network TV series, House Of Lies, based on the book House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time by Martin Kihn. The half-hour dark comedy series goes into production in February, with Jessica Borsicsky (Flash Forward) executive producing, and Stephen Hopkins (Californication, 24) directing. House Of Lies is described as “a subversive, scathing look at a self-loathing management consultant from a top-tier firm.” Cheadle will star as Marty, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant who is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want. Deadline reports that the female lead role opposite Cheadle will go to Heroes alum Dawn Olivieri, who will play Monica, Marty’s “crazy, pill-popping ex-wife and biggest professional competition as her consulting firm is No.1 compared to Marty’s No. 2.” Color me intrigued…
