And… we’re back! Starting off with a new and improved season of the Shadow And Act Livecast, celebrating this website’s second year in existence! Can you believe it’s been two years! Well, almost… the very first post on Shadowandact.com was on April 14th, 2009, so we’re still 10 days away. But nothing wrong with starting the celebration early, right?

And boy do we have some upcoming news for you! Yes, a few major changes are on the horizon, but I’ll make announcements in due time. Patience grasshopper…

The first quarter of 2011 has come to an end, and we’re kicking off this new season of the Shadow And Act Livecast with a look back on the first 3 months of 2011 in black cinema (or cinema of the African Diaspora). How have we fared so far this year, and how does the rest of the year look?

So, get ready for another one, which will air live, TONIGHT, Wednesday, April 6th, from 8PM to 9PM EST.

Myself, Sergio, Noelani, and Cynthia will spend an hour looking back, sharing our thoughts on the year thus far.
