Daniel Sunjata In Talks For Supporting Role In “The Dark Knight Rises”
Variety says that Sunjata will play “a courageous special forces operative” in the Warner Bros. sequel, which is scheduled to begin principal photography in Pittsburgh this summer, for a summer 2012 release. The film’s cast already includes returning members Christian Bale (as the titular superhero), Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and Gary Oldman, along with newly-cast villains Anne Hathaway (as Catwoman), Tom Hardy (as Bane), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (as Alberto Falcone), and Josh Pence, who was recently cast as a young Ra’s Al Ghul. Nolan penned the screenplay for The Dark Knight Rises with his brother Jonathan Nolan. I’m not sure what exactly this courageous special forces operative role might entail, but I certainly expect the news to shift from “in talks” to “has been cast” for Sunjata.

Sounds like Nolan might be looking to add Clayface to the mix dunno just guessing though.

should be interesting though
That would be awesome.
Mmmm, a good look all around.
I’m giessing that role is an homage to the third non-writing Nolan brother who was in fact a British special forces operative.
This is ultra-qool!
Daniel Sunjata was awesome as Langston Hughes in Brother To Brother (2004), so it’ll be qool to see him in Batman.
