The internet is in shock over one American Idol contestant not winning the coveted title.
Season 21 of the hit singing competition series featured a ton of amazing talent but New Jersey native Wé Ani was one contestant who many thought was going to be crowned the winner in the end.
Wé Ani gave stunning performances throughout her time on the show.
From performing ‘Bust Your Windows’ alongside Jazmine Sullivan to beautifully covering Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing’, Wé Ani wowed everyone with her incredible vocals.
While fans were convinced the singer was going to make it to the end, she was shockingly eliminated during Disney Night after performing ‘The Climb’ by Miley Cyrus — not advancing to the top 3.
