One of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood right now has just landed a major role.

Death on the Nile, an Agatha Christie adaptation and the sequel of sorts to 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express (directed by Kenneth Branagh), has tapped Letitia Wright to star alongside Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Jodie Comer, and Branagh.

Set at Fox, this will be Wright’s first non-Marvel, studio feature since her star-making Black Panther role. Like Orient Express, Death on the Nile will see Hercule Poirot investigate another murder. Not much is known about Wright’s character but she will be a lead suspect.

Wright, who just appeared in Amazon’s Guava Island, is also set for some indie films, including Hold Back The Stars, a sci-fi romance drama with fellow Brit, John Boyega.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke this news.
