Dorian Missick and Zoë Robins are the latest to join ABC’s drama pilot from Regina King and Robin Roberts.

Previously known as the Untitled Holmes Sisters project, it has now been titled, The Finest.

The drama centers on the “lives of five African-American sisters, all officers in the NYPD, as they face the challenges of their high-risk jobs while juggling the responsibilities of marriage, motherhood and family.”  It is based on the real-life story of the Holmes sisters, who Roberts covered for GMA.

They join Amirah Vann, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Frances Turner and Aubin Wise who will portray the sisters. One sister is left to be cast.

Other series regulars are Michael Beach, Eric Balfour and Gerard Celasco.

Missick will portray John/Terrell Archer, the husband of Wise’s character. Robins will be Taylor, the daughter of Campbell-Martin’s character.

Missick recently had recurring roles on Southland, Haven and Animal Kingdom. He was also a series regular on BET’s Zoe Ever After and NBC’s The Cape. Robins starred as the White Ranger/Hayley Foster on Power Rangers Ninja Steel.
