Although Zazie Beetz is known for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of Van on the FX show Atlanta, she’s also made her name known in movies. Now, the actress has another accomplished another feat many may have not been necessarily aware of.

Beetz has appeared in the top two highest-grossing, R-Rated films of all time: Deadpool 2 and Joker. In the former, Beetz starred as Domino, a member of Deadpool’s X-Force team who possesses the ability to manipulate luck. The film, which also stars Ryan Reynolds, was released in 2018 and grossed $785 million worldwide. In Joker, Beetz portrayed the role of Sophie Dumond, a single mother and the love interest of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix).

The film, directed by Todd Phillips, has grossed over $985 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time.

Beetz can also be seen in this year’s Lucy in the Sky and Seberg on the big screen.
