Although it seems not that long ago when it was first announced, Hustlers is now in production and has a seemingly fast-tracked release date.
Jennifer Lopez announced the September 13, 2019 release date on Instagram.
The STXfilms-set pic also stars Constance Wu, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer and Julia Sties.
Directed by Lorene Scafaria, the film is based on a New York Magazine/The Cut article from 2015 titled “The Hustlers at Scores.” It will follow “a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.”
