Idris Elba and his wife, Sabrina, celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
The Luther star shared a romantic photo to his Instagram account as the two enjoyed a candlelit dinner during their trip to Mexico, People reported.
“Happy Anniversary… You You,” Elba wrote in the caption, kissing his wife as they were surrounded by a red carpet bordered with candles in the background.

The 34-year-old commented on her husband’s post with a red heart emoji and shared a post on her respective Instagram account of the couple walking on the beach toward the ocean.
“Happy 4th anniversary baby, thank you for always helping me try to conquer my fears 😂🌊🚫,” Sabrina wrote in the caption.

On Thursday, Sabrina shared a series of photos highlighting their anniversary getaway. “Wholesome,” she described their vacation as the couple enjoyed some adventurous moments. They rode dirt bikes through the sand, watched the sunset on the beach and shared a kiss with a camel.

The couple reportedly met in 2017 when the 50-year-old was on location shooting the film The Mountain Between Us alongside Kate Winslet, per People.
Blavity reported the couple got engaged the following year, and the exciting news went viral on social media.

In 2019, Idris recounted how he felt about Sabrina after meeting her during an appearance on ABC’s The View.
“It was love at first sight,” he said. “I went out on my only day off, true story, it was a Sunday night, I went to this party and there she was. The rest is history.”
The couple tied the knot during a lavish wedding ceremony in Marrakesh, Morocco, per Blavity.
