Actor Jesse Williams is catching flack for his behavior as he navigates his divorce from estranged wife Aryn Drake-Lee.

The Grey’s Anatomy star wants a judge to deny a motion from Drake-Lee requesting $200,000 for legal fees and her use of a forensic accountant to prepare for their divorce trial. She also wanted a $27K increase in child support, according to People. He cited the amount he pays in child and spousal support and claims his ex has avoided seeking employment. Williams also claims he has already contributed $270K toward Drake-Lee’s legal fees.

“Aryn has been able to avoid seeking meaningful employment, preferring instead to comfortably live off her substantial support,” reads court documents acquired by The Blast.

Williams believes the court should teach Drake-Lee “she too is responsible to pay her attorneys’ fees and that this is not a free ride.”

He believes his ex will try to garner sympathy during an upcoming divorce trial.

“Aryn will likely claim she is losing money on her businesses yet even assuming this true, Jesse should not be prejudiced as a result of Aryn’s poor investment choices,” reads the documents.

Williams’ seeming vitriol toward Drake-Lee has some people throwing him the side-eye.

In 2017, an anonymous source told Page Six that Lee, a former teacher, was the one bringing the home the bacon in the relationship, and she "sacrificed her life" for him.

The former couple married in 2012, and Williams filed for divorce in 2017. They share joint legal and physical custody of their son and daughter. Williams currently pays $50K each for child and spousal support, based on his monthly income of $521,000.

The case will go to trial later this year.
