Former RHOA star Porsha Williams and her fiancé Simon Guobadia are one step closer to becoming husband and wife. Despite their controversial engagement due to Guobadia being the ex-husband of Williams’ former co-star, they are hanging in there. Most recently, Williams accidentally shared her wedding while on an Instagram live. She also took to her Instagram page to share what appeared to be engagement photos. In the post, the couple was dressed up and photographed in various locations. Now, fans believe their wedding is close after reports surface that they’ve obtained their marriage license.
The Future Mr. and Mrs. Guobadia take over Instagram
In a recent Instagram post, the couple shared what appeared to be engagement shots. “Mr. &Mrs. Guobadia Loading…Love wins 2022,” Williams wrote in the caption. Guobadia uploaded something similar in his caption. He wrote: “Unforgettable 9 days in the UAE. To god we give the Glory.” This will be Guobadia’s fourth marriage and Williams’ second. She was previously married to former NFL star, Kordell Stewart.

The couple obtain marriage license
TMZ reports that Williams and Guobadia obtained their marriage license on Aug. 19 in Georgia’s Fulton County. Per the court clerk where they received the license, there is no expiration date on the document. The license has yet to be signed and returned to the office. The couple are also reportedly not filming their wedding for a Bravo special.
