'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' Star On Not Shaking Trump's Hand During Cameo: 'I Knew Who He Was'

Daphne Maxwell Reid recently spoke about not having the most pleasant experience with infamous reality star-turned-President of the United States, Donald Trump, guest-starred on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

She spoke of her time meeting and working with him for the show in the new episode of the You Might Know Her From podcast. She caught such bad vibes from Trump that she refused to shake his hand (sounds familiar right)?

In the episode, Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples, wanted to buy the Banks house. Reid was asked about the part of the scene in which Uncle Phil (James Avery) shook Trump's hand, but Aunt Viv did not.

"I didn’t like him. I had news from New York. I knew who he was," she said.

Co-host Anne Rodeman said, "It was so wonderful. I was like, ‘Is she going to?’ Oh, she’s not going to [shake his hand.] And when he leaves, you’re like ready to kick his a**. It was so good."

"Yeah. And it was so true," added Reid.
